In the 4th minute a Rams corner comes to nothing as the ball is smashed over the bar, Wilvale start pushing forward after the early pressure from the Rams, 10 minutes, after some super passing from Rangers Olly Evans Dan Rayner and Adam Jones the attack is wasted as the ball is cleared by Rams Captain Elliot Moore, 21st minute, another good move from Rangers comes to nothing but they are settling down, the pace is relentless as the two teams compete for everything, 23rd minute, the Rams push forward and a lovely through ball sets up a chance for the attackers but Fraser Murray gets between the strikers and controls the ball and clears it in one move, super defending from Murray, 24th minute the Rams charge at the Wilvale defence and as the ball is cleared Chris Corlett shoots over the bar. 32cd minute, Olly Evans in the Wilvale midfield is taking some challengers he is also spraying the ball around the park, he plays the ball to his right, as the ball is played across the box the ball clips the top of the crossbar and goes to safety, i couldn't see who crossed the ball(i am a ref), 34th minute, Tyler Corlett goes on a run down the left for the Rams and cuts inside but shoots over the bar, he is just like his old man, how many Cup Finals have a father and son been in the same side, 43rd minute a great Ricky Villa 1981 Spurs v Man City run from Corlett senior out wide sees him cut into the box beat three defenders and then shoot past the diving Boylan for a super goal and 2-0 to the Rams, not to sure about the celebration, Chris runs towards the corner flag and as he dives in mid air like a giant salmon and he grabs the corner flag out the ground, with half time edging nearer the Wilvale Captain Elliot Thompson urges his players forward and straight from the restart a super cross is slotted home by Olly Evans poaching inside the box for 2-1, Trevor blows his whistle for half time, what a first half, i need a coffee and biscuits after that, Mick Kemp is the biscuit man.
